Mountain Biking in Steamboat Springs on the Spring Creek Trail

Mountain biking on one of Steamboat Springs' scenic bike trails is a great summer activity for the whole family.  Steamboat offers many mountain bike trails including the Spring Creek Trail.

This bike path is located in downtown Steamboat and is perfect for families because it's maintained nicely.  The trails are wide and not too steep making them perfect for mountain biking with children.  This trail is accessible from June until August.



Spring Creek Trail is a 5.2 mile path that is used for hiking and biking. My family loves to use the popular trail for both.  It's hard not to enjoy such a beautiful pathway.  It's got lots of wild flowers, a creek, and neat rock formations.

You can access the trail at the corner of Amethyst Drive and Maple Street.

Last Saturday, my husband and I took our daughter and one of her friends mountain biking on Spring Creek Trail.  They had a great time.  Of course, they had their safety helmets on just in case they fell.

I highly recommend trying out this trail if you are in Steamboat Springs and like biking or hiking.
