September 2014 Real Estate Report for Routt County

A monthly market report by Land Title Guarantee Co. showed that the number of real estate transactions and the gross volume were moving upward in Routt County.

Some interesting real estate numbers for January through August 2014 were

• 865 transactions so far this year
• Median home and land prices are up over last year
• Median price for a single-family home in Routt County is up to $530,000
• Median price for a multi-family home is up to $316,750
• Residential land prices are up from this time last year
• Price per acre for residential land is highest in downtown Steamboat
• The gross volume of transactions in August 2014 is up almost 30 percent over August 2013
